Over many years of reading and studying the Holy Scriptures, the Lord has been pleased to shed new light on His Word to open my mind to a greater understanding of His revelation of Himself. This has been part of my growing in grace and knowledge of Christ. But through it all, one thing I know (and this is what reassures me that any new light IS truly light and not darkness) is that it has never denied, changed, challenged, or even confused the Gospel of the glorious Person and finished work of Christ in working and establishing the righteousness of God for our complete salvation. And it has never divided brethren. In fact, the Gospel of God’s grace in Christ is the light that shines forth any and all new light that God gives.
